GUSTIRNE – a small place important for daily life in Supetar

At the beginning of the 20th century, this place played a very important role in the life of Supetar, because it supplied water to the inhabitants of Vrdolci, Varoš and Glavica. Rainwater was collected on the nearby pond, and accumulated in these wells. The women of Supetar gathered at this place, commented on daily social events, exchanged news, and took water from it to their homes, for drinking, washing clothes and dishes, watering livestock and other needs.
